Pitt Law is pleased to announce that The Honorable Judith K. Fitzgerald (Ret.) (JD ’73) has been selected to receive the 2020 Bankruptcy Inn of Court Alliance Distinguished Award. The Distinguished Service Award recognizes the ongoing dedication to the highest standards of the legal profession, the rule of law, and the demonstration of personal ethics and integrity, and specifically dedicated to a judge or attorney who has practiced in the field of bankruptcy law.
In addition to practicing law at the firm of Tucker Arensberg PC, Judge Fitzgerald teaches bankruptcy law and advanced bankruptcy law at Pitt Law. Judge Fitzgerald will be presented with the award at the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges.
