Students Compete at 2016 Pitt Law Appellate Competition

Third-year student Wesley Prichard won the 2016 Pitt Law Appellate Competition. In the final oral argument round, Prichard and his opponent, Danielle Bruno (also a third-year student) argued before Judge D. Michael Fisher of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, Judge Michael H. Wojcik of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, and Judge Christine A. Ward of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Bruno was the recipient of the competition’s Best Brief Award. The 2016 Pitt Law Appellate Competition was organized and administered by the student Moot Court Board, this year chaired by Natalie Mangene.
