Pitt Law Professor David Harris is scheduled to discuss police reform in Pittsburgh during a special conversation with Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto and University of Kansas Professor Brandon Harris in the School of Public Affairs and Public Administration on Thurs., Oct. 1 at noon. The event is sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh's Center for Governance and Markets (CGM) and will also feature Deputy Chief of Staff/Chief Equity Officer Majestic Lane, Assistant Chief of Staff Lindsay Powell, Critical Communities Manager Laura Drogowski, and Assistant Director of Public Safety for Community Initiatives Shatara Murphy.
The discussion will be moderated by CGM Director Jennifer Brick Murtazashvili.
