Pitt Law Visiting Professor Richard Weisberg, a profound scholar at Cardozo School of Law and in the Cardozo Law Institute in Holocaust and Human Rights, helped prepare and file an amicus curiae brief to the Supreme Court of the United States in the case of Simon v. Republic of Hungary. The case, which is being heard by SCOTUS today and airs on C-Span, concerns the doctrine of international comity and the expropriation exception of the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA).
