The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) is a 200 multiple-choice question test administered in every US Jurisdiction except Louisiana and Puerto Rico that accounts for up to 50% of an examinee’s score. Raising the Bar combines substantive bar review with MBE strategies. Using the flipped classroom model, students will prepare for class by watching videos. Class time will be devoted to reviewing MBE-style questions, paying particular attention to various distractor types and “tricks” of bar exam question writing.

This course has been flagged as a distance education course. This means this class is one in which students are separated from the faculty member or each other (other than specially accommodated students) for more than one-third of the instruction and the instruction involves the use of technology to support regular and substantive interaction among students and between the students and the faculty member, either synchronously or asynchronously.
