IntersessionFull Year Course:
This course is part of the Law School’s pilot “intersession”, which runs from Wednesday, January 5 to Tuesday, January 11. To receive credit for this short, intensive, one credit course, students must attend class every day for approximately 2.5 hours and should expect to spend roughly twice that amount of time outside of class working on class related activities.
Almost every practicing attorney will be immediately expected to have familiarity with deal frameworks, whether buying a home or a business. This one credit, one week intersession course, provides an excellent introduction to the mechanics of how a deal is structured, negotiated, and concluded, from the drafting of a term sheet through to the final closing. By the end of this course, students will have developed a familiarity with how deals work in a real-world manner to serve them well in every practice. This course is recommended for all students.
