Description

This course is a general introduction to the law of labor relations through the National Labor Relations Act and leading cases. It includes a study of the rights of employees, employers, and unions with respect to concerted activity, unionization, the establishment of collective bargaining units, the collective bargaining process, and the administration and enforcement of collective bargaining agreements. There will also be some discussion of public sector labor law with a focus on Pennsylvania's Act 111 and Act 195.
