Pat Chew at the ABA Midyear Program
Professor Pat Chew was the featured speaker at an ABA Midyear program: “Diversity on the Bench: Is the ‘Wise Latina’ a Myth?” February 6 in Orlando, Florida. Prof. Chew discussed her empirical research on racial harassment cases, conducted with Robert Kelley of CMU Tepper School of Business and published in the Washington University Law Review. The research studies the relationship between the judges’ race and case outcomes. The program was sponsored by the ABA Judicial Division and co-sponsored by over thirty other ABA sections.
