Biography

Teaching and research interests in capital market efficiency, corporate finance, securities valuation, and portfolio management. Spent over 20 years as an investment banker. Held senior positions at Salomon Brothers, E.F. Hutton & Co., Equilease Corp., Smith Barney, and PNC. Advised major corporations such as DuPont, Sun Oil Co., U.S. Airways, and Lockheed Martin on cash management, capital structure, and capital market activities. Additionally, consulted with institutional investors, such as BNY Mellon, Morgan Grenfell, Providian, PNC, and State Farm on investment portfolios, including securities valuation, analysis, and investment policy development. Held Series 7, 8, 9, 24, 63, and 65 Securities Registrations.

Served for six years as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army. Awards include: Bronze Star w/OLC, Air Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Gallantry Cross, and the Combat Infantryman Badge.
