Grant MacIntyre is Clinical Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Environmental Law Clinic. Professor MacIntyre worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of General Counsel as an attorney advisor and special assistant to the General Counsel, where he focused on the intersection of administrative law and environmental regulation. He also has experience in private practice with Bracewell in Washington, D.C., where he worked on environmental law issues in administrative, appellate, and compliance settings. At the Clinic, Professor MacIntyre supervises students in the practice of law as Certified Legal Interns in diverse practice areas including public lands, clean water, environmental justice, and permitting.
Professor MacIntyre received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2008. During his time as a student, he served as a certified legal intern with the Environmental Law Clinic, topics editor of the Journal of Environmental & Public Health Law, a member of the Environmental Law Moot Court, and as a member of the Pitt Law Student Environmental Law Council.
