Larry A. Silverman is a sole practitioner with his own law firm. He concentrates his practice on the representation of small businesses and nonprofits with a focus on commercial transactions, employment law, digital, marketing and advertising law and sports and entertainment law. He was formerly Of Counsel with Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C.  and also served as Senior Legal Counsel for Aerotech, Inc. for three and a half years where he was responsible for drafting and reviewing the company’s contracts and other transactions, providing employment law counseling, and advising the company on a variety of risk management and compliance issues.

From 2002-2011, Mr. Silverman served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Pittsburgh Pirates where he was responsible for all of the Club’s legal affairs, including negotiation of player contracts, review of all contracts and other transactions, employment/HR matters, and intellectual property protection. Prior to his in-house position with the Pirates, his legal career spanned two decades at Dickie McCamey. From 1978 to 1980, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Donald E. Ziegler of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
