By Car
From the North
Follow I-79 South to Pittsburgh. Take the I-279 exit toward Pittsburgh, then exit 8A (I-579 South/Veterans Bridge). Follow I-579 to the Oakland/Monroeville exit. Once off of the ramp, follow the Forbes Avenue/Oakland signs for 1.5 miles. Take the Forbes Avenue exit (poorly marked). The Law School is at 3900 Forbes Avenue.
From the South
Follow I-279 North toward Pittsburgh, and through the Fort Pitt Tunnels. Once on the Fort Pitt Bridge, get into the far right lane, and take the I-376/Monroeville exit. Follow I-376 East to the Forbes Avenue/Oakland exit. The Law School is at 3900 Forbes Avenue.
From the East
Via the PA turnpike (I-76), take exit 57 (old exit 6) to I-376 West, then take exit 3A (Oakland) onto Bates Street. Follow Bates until it ends at Bouquet Street. Turn left onto Bouquet Street. The Law School is at the near right corner of Bouquet and Forbes Avenue.
From the West
Via the PA turnpike (I-76), take exit 57 (old exit 6) to I-376 West, then take exit 3A onto Bates Street. Follow Bates until it ends at Bouquet Street. Turn left onto Bouquet Street. The Law School is at the near right corner of Bouquet and Forbes Avenue.

By Plane
Pittsburgh International Airport is about 15 miles Southwest of the University of Pittsburgh. The 28X Airport Flyer runs about every 20 minutes from the airport to Oakland and the University of Pittsburgh, for $2.25 one way. If renting a car, follow the driving directions from the south. If taking a taxi your fare should be approximately $50 (depending on traffic).
By Bus
Greyhound - Trailways www.greyhound.com bus station in Pittsburgh is located at 11th Street and Liberty Avenue, downtown about three miles from Pitt campus. By Train
Amtrak - www.amtrak.com (1-800-872-7245 in Western PA) has two east-bound trains and two west-bound trains each day. Connections can be made in Chicago and New York.
