Vivian Curran on the French Legal System
Professor Vivian Curran recently gave a talk at the Pompidou Center in Paris on the role of laypeople and professionals in the French legal system. The talk was part of a series of on the French judicial system that is open to the public. The evening lasted two hours, with a major portion devoted to audience questions. Joining her were Prof Roger Perrot of the University of Paris Law Faculty and Attorney Tiennot Grumbach, a litigator and former head of the Versailles bar association. The entire evening was taped and will be audiobroadcast on the websites of FranceCulture and of the Bibliothèque publique d'information.
