Pitt Law 3L Anthony Jessel (JD '23) wins PMC Law Student Writing Competition.

Pitt Law 3L Anthony Jessel (JD '23), was announed as the 2023 winner of Pennsylvanian’s for Modern Courts (PMC) Law Student Writing Competition. The contest carried a prize of $5,000 and was sponsored by Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath. His winning paper, “Closing the Justice Gap: Mandatory Pro Bono as a Progressive Initiative,” answered this year's question, “Can Pennsylvania institute a requirement that every lawyer licensed in the Commonwealth devote a specified number of hours per year to indigent or pro bono clients?” \

Anthony was recognized at PMC’s Spring into Action Benefit on May 2.
