Biography

Kevin was born on February 7, 1960 in Morgantown, West Virginia.  He graduated from the University of Virginia, Phi Beta Kappa, in 1982.  Following completion of his undergraduate degree, Kevin attended the University of Richmond School of Law.  In 1985, he graduated from the University of Richmond, with high honors and as a member of the Richmond law review.  For two years following his graduation from law school, Kevin served as a law clerk to a Federal District Court Judge in Charleston, West Virginia. From 1987- 2002, Kevin worked in private practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as a corporate lawyer with a focus upon mergers and acquisitions. Kevin left the private practice of law in August of 2002 in order to join Carmeuse America as Vice President, General Counsel.  In 2018, Kevin was promoted to Senior VP of Legal, Environmental and Business Development.   At the end of 2022, Kevin retired from Carmeuse Americas.  Kevin is currently of counsel with Dentons Cohen & Grigsby in the Pittsburgh office.    

Kevin has served on the Board of Directors of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Cancer Society and is Past President of the local chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.  Kevin is also a past member of the Board of directors of the National Lime Association. Kevin and his wife, Ellen, have two adult children, Ryan and Cassie.  Kevin and Ellen reside in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania.
