Pitt Law Professor Greer Donley, who is a leading expert on abortion, fears that it will be impossible for the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) to avoid getting tangled up in the heated debate over the first OTC birth control pill. “We can’t pretend that this is happening in a vacuum outside of politics,” Donley said. “All of these decisions are also political.”
