Fellowships

Through generous gifts from alumni and friends of the Law School, the Semester in DC Program is able to offer several fellowships for participating students. In addition to the fellowship opportunities listed here, students may accept other external funds, including salaries or stipends from their externship employers, when those are available. Note that most externship opportunities in DC are unpaid, however. Semester in DC Program students are also eligible to apply for up to $4,500 in additional loans through the Financial Aid Office due to the higher cost of living in DC.

Students need only complete one Semester in DC Program Fellowship Application for both the Alumni Fellowship and Jeffrey P. Taft Fellowship; a separate application must be completed for the Samuelson/Glushko Fellowship.
