The demographic information asked on the application is requested on a voluntary basis. This information will be kept confidential, and is intended to assist the University of Pittsburgh in providing data to demonstrate compliance with civil rights laws. Participation is optional. Refusal to complete this information will not be used to deny access or admission or otherwise affect consideration of your application.
Take some time to read through the Pitt Law view book and find out how you can join the next class of practice-ready, successful Pitt Law students.
The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid will notify applicants by e-mail when their application has been received. The email will include your user name and password for the online status page. We encourage you to check the status of your application by referring to the Applicant Online Status Page, as all decisions will be posted online. Pitt Law operates on rolling admissions and a decision can take several weeks. We ask for your patience during the admission cycle as it can be even longer during key times of the year.
