Pitt Law is an Accredited CLE and Distance Learning provider in Pennsylvania.
We offer Continuing Legal Education Credit (CLE) programs in-person, via live distance learning events, and via our video archive. These programs are provided directly by Pitt Law and are presented by faculty, alumni, and practicing attorneys on a wide array of substantive and ethical legal topics.
Pitt Law generally charges a $30 fee for processing CLE credit for one-hour programs. A higher fee may be charged if the program exceeds one hour.
To register for an upcoming Live CLE Event
- View the list of upcoming live CLE events.
- Register for the event using the registration link associated with that program.
- After attending the live CLE, attendees seeking CLE credit will automatically receive an email survey from Pitt Law to seek credit card authorization and process their CLE credit.
CLE Distance Learning
Various CLE credentialed recordings will allow users to gain CLE credit after watching. PACLE policies regarding distance-learning accommodations are applied by compliance period. CLE requirements for compliance periods ending in 2021 may be completed with credits earned through live online or pre-recorded online programs. Compliance periods ending in 2022 and 2023 are subject to a cap on pre-recorded distance learning programs. Information on your specific compliance group is found on the PACLE website. - Request access to CLE Distance Learning videos. Video and presentations will be provided as part of the video. You can also find instructions on personalizing your view on Panopto's website.
- You will receive instructions via email, which include a Pitt username and password. Learn about accessibility features.
- After receiving your username and password, you may return to this page and log in to My Pitt Video to watch videos approved for online CLEs.
- After watching the video, complete a request for CLE credit per video watched.
- You will be contacted to seek credit card authorization and to process your CLE credit.
