Biography
Since 2006 Mike was an adjunct professor at Duquesne University where he taught trial advocacy and coached numerous of the law school’s national trial moot court competition teams. His teams have won the Tournament of Champions, the AAJ STAC National Title and the Buffalo Niagara Trial Competition, in addition to placing in numerous regional semi-finals and finals. While at Duquesne, Mr. Gianantonio received the Duquesne University School of Law Adjunct Professor Award. He has also written numerous fact patterns that have been used in AAJ’s STAC competition.
When he is not teaching, Mike is Senior Trial Counsel for Robert Peirce & Associates, P.C. He specializes in representing victims of medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases. He is a member of the Allegheny County Academy of Trial Lawyers as well serving on multiple committees and sub-committees for AAJ. He is also published in the field of trial advocacy writing the article “The Practical Use of the Trial Advocacy Course in Today's Legal Education Curriculum” Duquesne Law Review v. SO Number 3, Summer 2012.
