CILE JD Opportunities

The Center for International Legal Education offers an excellent selection of opportunities for JD students to learn about and practice using foreign, comparative, and international law. The world of law is increasingly globalized; every area of law practice applies foreign and international legal resources.

International and Comparative Law Certificate

The International & Comparative Law Certificate program is intended to provide a foundation for careers and further study in the application of legal regimes to transnational and international relationships.

UCIS Area Studies Certificate

The University’s Center for International Studies (UCIS) offers programs that combine foreign language training and multidisciplinary courses necessary for communicative and cultural competence.

Languages for Lawyers

Courses are available to attorneys as well as JD students in Arabic, French, German and Spanish.
