The University of Pittsburgh School of Law plans to host a combination of an in-person and virtual ceremony for the Pitt Law Class of 2021 on Sat., May 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Petersen Events Center.
Per University requirements, a maximum of two guests per graduate will be permitted to attend in-person so the Law School can properly maintain physical distance between graduates, guests, faculty, and staff. The ceremony will be streamed online to encourage families and friends to watch and celebrate virtually. Stay tuned for online registration which will provide all graduates with the Zoom link as we get closer to Commencement.
Anyone attending the in-person ceremony will be required to wear a face-covering throughout the event and follow additional proper health and safety protocols including physical distancing and good hand hygiene. The decision to have an in-person ceremony is contingent on the state of the virus. These plans are subject to change. Students and families are encouraged to remain highly flexible in their planning.
