Megan Lovett, Esq.

Megan leads the PDO as the Interim Executive Director.  As Director of Public Interest and Pro Bono Initiatives, she develops and delivers effective career development counseling, educational programs, and targeted employer outreach in the public interest sector. In addition, Megan oversees pro bono projects and the volunteer recognition program for students. 

Prior to joining the PDO, Megan represented low-income clients at Community Justice Project, Fair Shake Environmental Legal Services, and Neighborhood Legal Services in Pittsburgh. Megan attended the University of Georgia where she received a B.A. in Journalism. Following several years as a newspaper photojournalist in the Southeast, she earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. There she was the recipient of the Jeffrey Crandall Award, given to the graduate who best exemplifies the ideals and commitment of Legal Aid.

Emi brings diverse experiences and expertise to the team. Hailing from Western Massachusetts, Emi has spent the last seven years in Pittsburgh. Before joining Pitt Law, Emi worked in the Philanthropic & Alumni Engagement office, focusing on student and alumni programming and engagement at Panthers Forward. This unique initiative aimed to alleviate student debt and enhance student success among Pitt undergrads.

Having previously practiced immigration law, Emi transitioned into higher education to combine her legal background with a passion for academia. This combination of experiences gives Emi a distinct perspective and a valuable skill set in her new role.

Vikram Mangalmurti

Vik brings a unique and non-traditional career path to our organization. With a law and management consulting background, Vik's early professional experiences were with firms such as Deloitte and Oliver Wyman. However, he chose to transition into industry, where he held executive positions at Highmark, served as the CEO of a venture-funded start-up, and most recently led a complex clinical laboratory as its CEO.

Vik earned his JD from Stanford Law School in 1995, then obtained an MPH from Johns Hopkins in 1996. Before his legal and public health pursuits, Vik completed his undergraduate studies at George Washington University. Having called Pittsburgh home for the past twenty-seven years, Vik is deeply rooted in the local community and holds membership in the Pennsylvania Bar. With his extensive background and expertise, Vik is excited to work with Pitt Law's students, assisting them in achieving success along their chosen paths. He is eager to meet the students, learn about their aspirations, and share his invaluable experiences to guide and support them.

Maura Sullivan

Maura Sullivan is a lifelong Pittsburgh resident who resides in the Oakland neighborhood of the city. Her professional background includes executive administrative support at Pittsburgh City Council, The Andy Warhol Museum, and the University of Pittsburgh Drug Discovery Institute. In her leisure time, Maura enjoys taking walks, reading contemporary fiction, and browsing antiques. Maura is also a dual citizen of Ireland. As the Coordinator of the Professional Development Office, she manages the administrative duties of the PDO and assists with planning events and OCIs.
