Prof. Rhonda Wasserman Quoted in Law360

Professor Rhonda Wasserman was quoted in an article on Law360 regarding proposed amendments to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 30(b)(6), which governs depositions of corporations and other entities. The article by Aebra Coe entitled, “New Deposition Rule Could Have Benefits, But Lawyers Hate It” (2/25/19), quotes Wasserman as saying, “This would be a positive change over current practice – under which the organization may name a series of individuals, each of whom disclaims knowledge of the relevant topics, even though the organization in fact has relevant information.” According to Wasserman, “The proposed meet-and-confer should reduce the likelihood of this frustrating exercise.” Law360 is an online legal news service owned by LexisNexis.
